Join us for a hands-on workshop focused on infusing vibrancy to your pieces with the addition of detailed surface work. Inlay is a decorative technique that uses simple tools to carve/make incisions onto the surface of the work and then filling the carved areas with different colored clay or glaze to bring the illustrations to life. Each participant will be guided through techniques using their own leather-hard pieces and provided with hands-on guidance to achieve their artistic goals. This is a great opportunity to add new dimension to your pieces and add another skill to your pottery tool-belt!

This workshop will be led by Chatham based artist, Andrea Vuletin. Andrea has been working with clay for 25 years and has an educational background in graphic design and illustration. Combining her love for pottery, illustration and the outdoors, Andrea continues to create charming pots that bring a piece of the garden indoors. Check out her work at www.andreavuletinceramics.com
